There is way too much shit in my head pushing up against each other and clawing at the walls. And it would be so nice if it could just open up and leave me in one black cloud. And for even a moment, if I could be mindless and just enjoy being here.
Just one moment of clarity to prove that there is another side. I just want that reminder, so I can get myself to keep working towards it. Just a moment.
So I finally got to see Iron and Wine this weekend. Just Sam and his guitar.
And he finished with ‘The Trapeze Swinger.’
And I don’t know that any song has affected me this much. Ever. This is unbelievable. Invoking too many old thoughts and feelings.
